The first set of Global Conversations for implementing Wikimedia 2030 Movement Strategy will be held on November 21 and 22, 2020, a second one on December 5 and 6, 2020 (each pair of events will also accommodate different time zones). Further details about the events, the program, and registration information will be provided soon. Meanwhile, please add this page to your watchlist and express your interest in participating below.

Prepare

  1. Organize a call to get together with your community, affiliate, or group - prioritization and preparation events.
  2. Review the recommendations available in a variety of formats and languages.
  3. Discuss your work and needs for 2021 in relation to the recommendations and identify your priorities on Meta or via this survey.
  4. What are initiatives that you and your group would like to work on? What are initiatives that we should all work on as a movement. Join the global conversations to learn more.
  5. Together we will take local priorities forward into the Global Conversations where we will create a list of movement-wide priorities for 2021/22 and a first implementation plan for Movement Strategy.
  6. Already have some thoughts about a recommendation or initiative? Let's discuss.
