- The identity of the uploader wouldn't matter if mugshots were OK to upload, would it? If they're not OK to upload, they have to be deleted, regardless. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 19:22, 20 October 2023 (UTC)

- Comment A mugshot is usually released by the police, but according to an old discussion Commons:Deletion requests/Image:968889757.jpg, the Swedish law allowed the police retain the copyright on the photo from a "förundersökning" (result of investigation).
