Kristi Waterworth[edit]

Kristi Waterworth[1] is an American financial and real estate journalist. She's written extensively about the American housing market, homeownership, real estate investment trusts, personal finance, and other subjects throughout her decades-long career. Waterworth got her start in local news in the Missouri Ozarks, working for the Lebanon Daily Record in Lebanon, Missouri, the Marshfield Mail and South County Mail in Marshfield, Missouri, the Lawrence County Record and Greene County Commonwealth in Mount Vernon, Missouri, and the Springfield Business Journal in Springfield, Missouri.

Waterworth has also written regularly for national publications including Gardening Know How, Gold Prospectors Magazine and Real Assets Adviser, as well as providing a near-endless stream of guest articles for a huge range of magazines and websites. Currently, you can find her work at The Motley Fool[2], The Ascent[3], Forbes[4], and US News and World Report[5].

Waterworth holds a bachelor's degree in American History and is not enjoying watching the fall of the American government in real time. When she's not contemplating the fall of society, she's spending time with her dogs, piddling around her garden, and working on her home (an endless and thankless task).
