Instructions[edit]

  • Step 0: If you are working with a language category, please mark the category with {{doing}} and signature, please update it to {{done}} once you've checked all the files. This will avoid duplication of work. It is recommended for the only person to work on one category.
  • Step 1: Check if the file name has appropriate language code and the file has translations in respective language.
  • Step 2: Check if the description and caption are correct, check the source. It should describe the image, but not the language.
  • Say for example, "Elements of the Human Body" but not "Assamese verion of 201 Elements of the Human Body.svg" or similar.
  • Step 3: Check if the source field is properly mentioned, in this format, [[:File:EXAMPLE.svg]] by AuthorOfSourceFile.
  • Step 4: Check if the author field is properly mentioned, in this format, Translated into LANGUAGENAME by USERNAME.
  • Step 5: Check if the respective {{Other versions}} template is placed or not, and also the particular file is a part of the template or not. If not, please add the file and the template to the file. Template for a file can be taken from its respective source file.
  • Step 6: Check the categories. The file should all the main categories of the source file, except the language category. If there is no language category added, please add the same. For example, Category:SVG diagrams in Assamese or Category:SVG maps in Assamese.
