Summary[edit]

Description
English: A symbol of regeneration: A stolen car was driven down a narrow, remote, bush track and crashed in the Karori Reservoir reserve. This reserve has since been turned into the Karori Wildlife Sanctuary, a 500 year project to restore a bit forest to something approaching its condition prior to the European settlement of New Zealand. Over the years the car was enveloped in moss, ferns and other native plants. Karori Wildlife Sanctuary (Zealandia), Wellington, New Zealand.
